Throughout the spring sport season Ritenour Live will be spotlighting each of the sports teams

 

Varsity Soccer Captain- Senior Ellie Preis 

 

1. How long have you played soccer?

I have played soccer for 13 years.

 2. How do you feel about the season so far?

There is a lot of potential.

3. How has the team grown since you first started playing in High School?

We [the team] have worked more as a whole.

 4. Do you feel like being on the High School team has developed your skill?

I have managed my time. It makes school more fun since I get to play with my best friend [Alexis Ferren].

 5. How has being on a High School sports team impacted you as a person?

It improves how I work with other people.

6. What is the goal of this season?

To win upset games [When the team is not expected to win].

 7. What will be the biggest challenge of the season?

Playing against harder teams, since we are playing in a new conference.

 8. How can the team improve this year?

We are working more together.

 9. Who are the new upcoming players to look out for?

Freshman Alexis Ramey playing as a forward.

 10. What has been your favorite memory on the High School sports team?

Playing against Hillsbro High school, the team has a long drive to and from so we get dinner after the game.
