Bring cans–Feed Friends

On behalf of Ritenour High School, the Leadership class is hosting a canned food drive starting Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Friday, Nov. 22.

Students can also bring in packages of Ramen noodles. 3 packs of noodles are equal to one can. Cans and noodles are collected in the 4th hour classes and the winning class get Papa Johns pizza.

To challenge the students and encourage them to bring in cans, a number of teachers volunteered to do a variety of quirky things.

These things include:

  • Sliding in shaving cream
  • Eating a Balut egg
  • Eating dog food
  • Eating a blended happy meal
  • Dying the hair pink
  • Shaving off all hair
  • Dancing in a fat suit

These challenges are grouped into three different levels which are associated with how many cans are collected.

The three levels to this challenge are:

  • Level One–Students have to bring in 500 cans.
  • Level Two–Students have to bring in 1000 cans.
  • Level three–Students have to bring in 2500 cans.

The wacky things the teachers will do will be shown at the winter pep assembly in January.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
