The seniors only had half of the high school experience. They got through everything from their freshman, sophomore, and junior year, but they couldn’t even get the rest of the high school experience, most of which takes place during the last year. These students had all of their hope for the future (the light going through the water bottle), but all of their hope was lost as the year was cut into half.
