Black History Month Fact of the Day

Black History Month in 2021 is celebrated from February 1st through March 1st. The month was chosen for coinciding with the birth dates of President Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglas.

The month is a time for educational institutions to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of historical accomplishments by African Americans in the United States development.
