Ritenour High School – March 14, 2018

Students from Ritenour High School spent the day lighting up their Snapchat and Instagram accounts with details about the national walkout by students to support and protest the massacre of the 17 students in the Parkland, Florida.

Principal Dr. Hopper reported that 200-250 students exited the building and evacuated to Costillow Field House. Students were allowed to congregate and took the initiative to hold a prayer circle for a moment of silence. Many emotions spilled onto social media to share their feelings on the hours events.
