On Friday, Feb. 21 the African-American teachers at Ritenour wore African attire in an attempt to  stand with me in solidarity of Black History Month.

It was their hope that their attire would remind the students that they should be proud of their heritage and that they stand united.

The event was organized by business teacher Cheryl Jolly-Luster.
