World Series game 3 recap

The Cardinals proved they were not going down without a fight in game three, winning 5-4.  Allen Craig slid into home plate after plowing over Will Middlebrooks, allowing an obstruction call.

The game started off with the Cardinals scoring the first two runs, with RBIs by  Matt Holliday and Yadier Molina.   There was not another run scored until the game reached the fifth inning when  Xander Bogaerts scored a single run followed by another run made by Shane Victorino in the sixth inning, tying the game two to two.

The Cardinals finally broke the tie when they scored two runs in the seventh inning when Carpenter and Beltran made it through home plate letting the cardinals lead the game four to two by the end of the seventh inning. The game was far from over, though. Boston scored two more runs made by Jacoby Ellsbury and Victorino in the eighth inning, tying the game up once again. With the score four to four going into the ninth inning only one could win. That was when Allen Craig scored the final run of the game.
