Kya Merriman is in her first year on the Pepper Box staff. She joined Pepper Box because she is interested in photography and news reporting (i guess). In addition to working on the school newspaper, she also spends time working and rotting in her room. In the future, Kya would like to pursue a career in science and maybe raise a baby raccoon.
