Ritenour High School entered the new school year with a new edition to the drama department staff.

Greg Jones is the new drama teacher who will bring new ideas to the Ritenour High School drama program.

Jones has experienced many different teaching jobs throughout his career. He has experience as a college admissions director, a high school drama teacher in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), and a scholarship director at Bentonville High School in Arkansas. He has also been a middle school history teacher at Confluence Charter School and is now continuing his teaching career here at Ritenour High School.

Students are very excited about the new drama teacher and think he is going to make the drama department a huge success.

“I am excited, I know he is going to bring his great ideas to the department and make great improvements. He’s going to take the drama club and make something great out of it,” Drama Club President senior Amethyst Gordick said.

Jones is excited to be working with the students at Ritenour High School.

“Students here seem excited and ready to take on a new challenge” Jones said.

Jones is glad to be teaching one of his favorite subjects again and is excited to work in a great facility.

“It is good to be back teaching drama. This is a great area and facility. I wanted to get back to the high school setting and I wanted to teach drama again,” Jones said.
